You may choose either traditional or water miscible paint in this workshop, although Barbara will be teaching in solvent-based oils. Whether you are a beginning artist or an experienced artist looking to learn more about painting in oils, this workshop will provide a ton of information.
Barbara will be demonstrating using a step-by-step process to make it simple for any individual to follow along even if you’ve never painted before.
She will explain the materials needed as well as various techniques for getting started on creating your own beautiful oil paintings. You will be working on your own work with guidance.
MATERIALS
Students will provide their own materials. A supply list will be sent out prior to the workshop.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Barbara began painting in oils as a young girl as well as having a 30-year career in art restoration. Her knowledge of paint handling, techniques, and materials is extensive.
She is a signature member of Oil Painters of America (OFA) and American Impressionists Society (AIS). Barbara received national recognition for her sensitive handling of her flower subjects as well as her bold impressionistic landscapes.
