The 'Zen' portion of the title means that it can produce a very calming and meditative state when you're working on this. Let's get started on a type of line design that can be very addictive. No experience is needed because you don't actually have to make it look like anything in particular. It is line making with calm purpose and a zen-like feeling.She will show you how to create the look of beautiful jewel tone gems within your zentangle designs as well.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Mary Clare has been an artist her entire life and has taught Art since 1984. Her work has been featured at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, purchased for the MEA building in Lansing, on display at the Muskegon Museum of Art, in many adjudicated shows, and has found a home in the private collections of many art enthusiasts across the country.

Mary Clare is thrilled to offer her creative talents and refreshing enthusiasm to teach many others the joy of drawing.
